The Magtrol Rotary Transmitters are the tool for transmitting the transducer signals on a rotating parts (engine shafts and similar) to certain stationary systems (PCs, measuring devices). These transmitters are ideal for transmitting low level electric signals of thermocouples, strain gauges, extensometer gauges and transducers for oscillation and acceleration measurement purposes. The RS transmitters also possess the ability to provide power supply signals to every transducer.
Magtrol RS series don’t use any slip rings and it makes them arc free. This feature makes them better than any other conventional rotary system that uses rings, wire loops, brushes and similar devices. The installation is extremely simple and it can be compared to connecting a simple cable. These transmitters require no power supply, software, battery, or setting up the parameters to be fully operational. The regular models operate at a speed range from 0 to 20000 RPM and the high speed version with the speed range up to 40000 RPS is also available.
